I have become aware that friends have tried to post a comment on my blog without any success. After a bit of trial and error I have found out that I needed to develop a circle of family and friends on blogger and then alert them when a new posting on the blog was undertaken. Well I have finally done this so here I go - lets see if this resolves the issue of those wanting to make comment. I hope to have the site up and running before we head off on 2Jul. The only problem then will be maintaining an internet connection which I realise will be a problem on the Gibb River road.

    Lindsay I'm impressed to see your blog developing - if I'm right and this is your first blog, then it must feel nice at your age to no longer be a blog virgin. :) And if what you've done fixes the problem of me having to get a google account when I don't want one, then I'm doubly impressed. :))

    Okay so I remember I actually have a wordpress account - means I still don't have to get a google account (unless of course Google owns WordPress too).

    To post this comment, I logged in to WordPress, which then made me send my wordpress login details to blogspot, which then allowed me to access the preview and the publish buttons that allowed me to make this comment!!!
